Bast Phones Realme 6 Pro Review and Dual Punch Hole Camera

Hello and welcome to ReviewPK! My name is Ameer. And this is, our unboxing of Realme6 Pro and our first impressions, Realme 6 Pro is the top phone from Realme's 6 series before it, we saw the Realme 6i , along with Realme 6 so, 6 Pro is basically a flagship device of Realme. And in this phone, Realme has given quite an aggressive feature set. The phone will launch in Pakistan with 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage. And if we talk about its price, as always, it will be confirmed in the launch event of Realme. But my speculations is, that the price should be around Rs. 50,000 - 55,000. If we talk about the colours, Realme 6 Pro will arrive in 3 colours Lightening Blue, Lightening Orange, and our device today, which is Lightening Red. Now, lets move on to the unboxing but before that if you are liking this video so far don't forget to give it a thumbs up. India Best Gadget for Review Realme 6 Vs Redmi note 9S (9pro) mobile review and details 2020

Hello and welcome to ReviewsPK! My name is Ameer and this is Redmi Note 9s versus Realme 6. A few days ago I uploaded theunboxing of Realme 6, there was a lot of feedback on it from you guys. There were some enthusiastic feedbacks as well. And a lot of people requested for a comparison between these 2, to show you guys that in depth, how these phones are alike? What are the things that are different? What are their pros and cons? And on your usage scenario which phone will suit better? Before moving on with the video I just want to say that, all the criticism that comes on our video, we take it as a constructive criticism, but where there is use of abusive language, we instantly delete those comments and also ban those people. So, without a doubt, do comment on our videos and criticize as much as you want. In Pakistan both of these phones were launched just 2 - 3 days ago.

First, let's talk about Redmi Note 9s. It comes with a 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage, and it's retail price in Pakistan is Rs. 40,000/-. Whereas, in Pakistan Realme 6 comes with 2 variants 4GB RAM and 8GB RAM, and both have 128GB built-in storage. The variant with 4GB RAM is retailed at Rs. 40,000/-, whereas the 8GB variant is retailed at Rs. 45,000/-. And if you are interested in buying this phone, then buy it on  "ymobile.pk" which is also the sponsor of our today's video. Before starting this video if you are liking the video then don't forget to drop a like, and if you are new to our channel then please subscribe and turn on the notifications so that whenever there is a new video uploaded you will be notified. We will start with the design. Some premium materials are used in the build of Redmi Note 9s. Gorilla Glass 5 protection is given at the front and back, with a plastic frame in the middle. And this Gorilla Glass build has always been a big selling point for Redmi Note lineup.

The back has a very glossy finish, which, most of you would like. And this Interstellar Grey colour is touching blue tones as well. Seems like a mix of Charcoal Gray and Dark Blue. The phone has some weight to it as well, and the reason for that is the glass build and a big battery. On the other hand, if we talk about Realme 6, Gorilla Glass 3 protection is given at the front, whereas, back and frame both are made of plastic. And plastic is efficient to some extent as well, on the basis of durability. Because if the phone drops, the plastic bears drops and falls better than glass. If we talk about looks, I really liked this white colour look of Realme 6 as well.

It shows turquoise and purple shades when light is reflected upon it from different angles. But, on the basis of build quality, if I have to pick a winner between these two, then I'll definitely pick Redmi Note 9s. Because Gorilla Glass 5 protection is given at its front and back. And when we talk about mobile phones, then glass is always considered as a premium and a more desirable feature. As well as a higher quality material. Moving forwards, lets talk about the displays of these two phones, the Redmi Note 9s has a 6.67 inches IPS Dot Display which has a Full HD+ resolution that is 1080 x 2400 which makes the pixel density 395 ppi, and the maximum brightness of the display, according to Xiaomi, is 450 nits.

There is a centralized hole punch cutout in the display which houses the phone's selfie camera On the other hand, in Realme 6, there is a slightly smaller, 6.5 inches Full HD+ Display, which has a resolution of 1080 x 2400. Which makes the pixel density 405 ppi. And the maximum brightness of this display, according to Realme is 480 nits. And there is a hole punch cutout in this display as well but this one is on the left side of the screen. But there is a very special thing about the display of Realme 6 and that is its 90Hz refresh rate.

And this thing, in my opinion, is a game changer. Normally, the displays of the phones are of 60Hz, and Redmi Note 9s has a 60Hz display as well, the 90Hz Displays or displays with higher refresh rate, are normally seen in premium and flagship phones, this is the first time that I am seeing a 90Hz display in a mid range phone. 90Hz display, in 1 second refreshes 90 times where a normal display, with 60Hz refreshes 60 times in a second. And with this difference between 90Hz and 60Hz, you get an ultra smooth experience while using the phone, scrolling through pages, or scrolling the menu you can see a difference in the smoothness and the overall feel of the phone seems a little faster.

This is very hard to show you on camera because this video was made at 30 frames per second. But if still you have not used 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate phone, then I will recommend you, to go to your mobile shop owner and ask him to show you, so that when you will see it side-by-side, you will see a night and day difference. And once you move to the panels with high refresh rate you will find the normal 60Hz panel, to be quite difficult to use. If I have to pick a winner between these phones, on the basis of display, I will pick the Realme 6, hands down, because of this 90Hz display It is my favourite feature of this phone. Along with it, its display is also a little brighter, there is a difference of almost 20 - 30 nits, not that much, and along with that Realme 6 has a Wide-vine Level 1 Certification that means the videos of Netflix, in this phone will play on 1080p. Whereas Redmi Note 9s has a Wide-vine Level 3 Certification which means the videos of Netflix here, will play on 720p. I don not have a major issue with 720p but this is a difference and a lot of you people who are looking for a phone for video content consumption would matter to them. Moving forward we will talk about, the performance of both of these phones.

In Realme 6 there is a MediaTek Helio G90T chipset which is based on a 12nm architecture along with it there is a Mali G76 GPU, and in the Rs. 40,000/- variant there is a 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. On the other side, in the Redmi Note9s, Snapdragon 720G chipset is given, which is based on a 8nm architecture along with it there is an Adreno 618 GPU. And in this phone there is a 6GB RAM and 128GB built in storage. And limited to the RAM, for Rs. 40,000/- price point, the Redmi Note 9s, with its 6GB RAM, is leading Realme 6. But MediaTek Helio G 90t is a very well carved processor. We have seen this processor before in Redmi Note 8 Pro And that phone, because of this processor, got a lot of acceptability. On the other hand, if we talk about Snapdragon 720G, it is also a very strong processor.

Specially in the Rs 40,000/- price range, Redmi Note 9s is the first phone, which is offering this processor. Now it is important to compare these two processors. And we will start this comparison with the Benchmark results, In Geekbench 4, the single core score for Realme 6 came out 2558, whereas, the multi core score was 7729. On the other hand, if we talk about Redmi Note 9s, here the single core score came out 2657 whereas the multi core score came out to be 7079. And if we talk about Antutu Benchmark, the the score of Realme 6 came to be 293936. whereas, Redmi Note 9s score was 276497. Now you can see, the GPU score and the Memory score of Realme 6 both are slightly more. Whereas the CPU score is similar for both. But one thing to note here is that the CPU of Realme 6 got 6 degrees hotter while testing whereas, Note 9s just got half degree hotter. And by this, you get to know that Helio G gets slightly more hot. We will talk about this later. If we compare the Benchmark results, you can see here that Realme 6 scores, on the basis of Benchmark results, are better than Redmi Note 9s scores. And if we pick a winner based on Benchmarks, then Realme would win.

But we will not do this, because we need to look at more things for overall performance. First, we will talk about the manufacturing process of these processors. Helio G90t is based on a 12nm architecture. Whereas, Snapdragon 20G is based on a 8nm architecture. And this makes a great difference inherently in the efficiency. Helio G 90t is a very powerful processor. But this is not power efficient it heats up while working too. It will take a lot of your battery as well. On the other hand, the core performance of Snapdragon 720G is slightly less than that one but this processor quite power efficient. It doesn't heat up as well. Therefore, in a long term usage, it'll take up less battery and you will get some benefits with that as well. But at the end of the day, both of these processors are very powerful If we talk about daily usage apps, both phones can easily run all your usage apps as well as as the heavy apps. Their processors are really powerful. But if we talk about the smoothness of day-to-day usage, due to a 90Hz display, Realme 6 will feel slightly smoother. If we talk about gaming, I played Pubg in both of them. And the game ran on high settings by default. In Realme 6, there is an option for HDR and Ultra high frame rates as well. But still, overall I enjoyed the Pubg game play in Redmi Note 9s more. One reason for that was its big screen. Alongwith it, I also played Call of Duty in them too, And that also ran very smoothly, I did not feel any lag in it either.

And the game play was quite enjoyable. But as far as Realme 6 is concerned, it can play those games as well which are optimized for a 90Hz panel, and support 90Hz refresh rate. So, if you want ton play those types of games, this is a plus point. And if we talk about performance overall, and select a winner, I honestly think it is a tie here. One is very powerful but heats up as well. The other one is less powerful, but it works cool and is more power efficient. Hence, it is up to you whichever you pick. And I want to know which one would you pick between these two? Do let me know in the comment section. If we talk about the interface, there is a MIUI in Redmi, which is Xiaomi's own custom skin. And you get a little bloatware with it, and occasionally a few ads at places as well.

And on the other hand if we talk about Realme 6, you get a Realme UI here. Which is close enough to stock Android. And if you follow this channel, you would know that I always prefer stock Android more. So if I have to pick a winner on the basis of interface among these two, then i would definitely pick stock Android, which is present in Realme 6. If we talk about finger print sensor, both of the phones have a side mounted finger print sensor. Redmi's finger print sensor is definitely usable, but you can see that Realme's finger print sensor is more responsive and faster. If we talk about the speakers of these phone, a bottom fire speaker is given in both of the phones.

And between these two, I prefer the speakers of Redmi Note 9s more. And the reason for that is that I found its sound to be fuller. I got high-end and low-end both in the sound. Whereas if we talk about Realme 6, it definitely gets loud. But because of its loudness, the base is a little suppressed. And you will feel a little treble in the sound. Check out the sound samples of both of these phones. Like you heard, the sound of Realme 6 gets very loud but its treble suppresses the base as well. Moving forwards, we will talk about the battery and charging setup of these phones. A 5,020 mAh battery is given in Redmi Note 9s along with a 18W fast charging. whereas on the other hand, a 4,300 mAh battery is given in Realme 6 and here, you get a 30W VOOC charging. And Realme claims, that with this fast charging, you can charge the phone within an hour.

I tested this, and it is almost correct. Despite of having the WiFi and 4G on, it was completely charged in 1 hour 4 minutes. Whereas, if you talk about Redmi Note 9s, it will take 1 hr 45 min to 2 hrs to get empty to full charge. But if we move forward and talk about the battery life, the game is completely inverse over here. Battery life of Redmi Note 9s is very good. One reason for that is its big battery, and the other reason is its more efficient Snapdragon 720-G processor. This phone will you 1.5 to 2 days easily. On the other hand if we talk about Realme 6, because of a small battery with a gas guzzler Helio G 90t processor this phone burns the battery very quickly. And it will give 1 day in normal days. And if your usage is very light, then it might give 1.5 day. But it was really difficult for me to go farther than a day. But obviously.

There is a very fast charging, so even if you top up for 5 to 10 minutes in the middle of the day, you get a lot of battery. Now, if I have to pick a winner here as well between these two, in my opinion, it is a tie situation. One phone has a bigger battery but the charging is speed is slow. The other phone has a smaller battery, but the charging speed is very fast. So what would you prefer between these two things? Do let me know in the comment section below. Lets move forward to talk about the cameras of these two phones. First, lets take a look at the specifications. There is a quad camera setup at the back of Redmi Note 9s which includes a 48MP f/1.8 aperture Wide Angle lens which has a Samsung GM2 sensor. Alongwith with an 8MP Ultrawide sensor, 5MP Macro sensor and a 2MP Depth sensor. Whereas, on the front side, there is a 16MP Selfie shooter.

On the other hand, Realme 6 also has a Quad camera setup on its back. But here, the main camera, is a 64MP f/1.8 aperture Wide angle lens. And this is the same Samsung GW1 sensor, which we had seen before in Redmi Note 8 Pro and in Realme XT. Along with it, there is an 8MP Ultrawide sensor, a 2MP Macro sensor, and a 2MP Depth sensor. Whereas on the front side, here too, a 16MP Selfie shooter is present. If we start our comparison with the sensor size of the main camera, then here, Realme 6's sensor is superior. Samsung GW1 Sensor is of 64 MP and its size is also bigger. Whereas Samsung GM2 Sensor, is of 48MP and its size is comparatively smaller. But size is not everything, and it is image quality that metters. So now, lets go through some image samples.

Lets start with the colour reproduction. Colour reproduction of both the phones was quite accurate. If we take a look at them side by side, you won't feel much difference between the two except for the brightness and colour temperature. Where Redmi Note 9s images are slightly on the warm side, the colour temperature of Realme 6 images was neutral. If we talk about the dynamic range, I didn't feel any difference here as well. And the images of both phones, because of HDR, were exposed very well. The sky was blue in bright picture too, and the shadows had the similar details. If we talk about clarity and sharpness, here the camera of Realme 6 leads slightly. Because of its 64MP sensor, the images of Realme 6 are slightly more detailed. Whereas in Redmi Note 9s images, you will sense a little aggressive sharpening. Although it is all about preference, but I found Realme 6 images overall more pleasing.

Due to a 64MP camera, images are more detailed. And because of a big sensor along with it, you get a more blurred background in the images. If we talk about Ultra wide images, because of the 8MP of both the cameras, you could feel a quality drop here. And here, Realme 6 images were a bit over sharpened In macro images, Realme 6 despite of having a 2MP sensor, was taking better images than the 5MP of Redmi Note 9s. Specially, on the basis of colours. If we talk about the selfies, I liked Realme 6 selfies more, because I found more details in it. Whereas Redmi Note 9s selfies were coming out slightly soft. And lastly, if we talk about low light performance, you never get a good low light performance in mid range price segment. But between these two phones, I found Realme 6 images to be a little better. Again, its 64MP big sensor, absorbs more light physically. And you can see this thing in the images as well. So, on the basis of pictures, I think Realme 6 is a better option.

But when we talk about videos, the game is completely inverse over there. Both of the phones support maximum 4K recording. but the Electronic Image Stabilization is only limited to 1080p. Here, if we look at the samples of both the phones, then the stabilization of Redmi Note 9s is smoother. And in Realme 6 videos, you can see very sharp changes in the exposure. Where the camera adjusts the exposure on the basis of the difference in light. whereas, in Redmi Note 9s you get a very smooth video and exposure. Along with it, there are some Pro video features in Redmi Note 9s too. So if you want a phone for video recording, Redmi Note 9s is a better option over there. So this was the complete breakdown of these two phones, but lets talk about some Usage Scenarios now. Which phone is better for what type of usage? So I want to give some advises here as well. If you are an average user both phones will work fine for you. If you want a phone for gaming both phones will be great for that too.

But if you consume video content, then in my opinion, Realme 6 will work better for you because of its 90Hz display, a little brighter screen and because of Wide-vine Level 1 Certification. If you want a good camera phone for pictures for that I will recommend Realme 6 as well, But if you want to make videos with your phone for that I would consider Redmi Note 9s. If you want a phone for power usage, for that too I would recommend Note 9s because its Snapdragon processor is more efficient, it runs cooler, it has more RAM, and has a bigger battery. And if you want premium looks and materials here too Redmi Note 9s takes the lead because of it's Gorilla Glass 5 on its front and back. If you need a phone for both casual gaming and video content consumption here I would recommend Realme 6 to you, because of its 90Hz Display, and its powerful processor.

If you want a power efficient phone then again Note 9s is the way to go. For "Value for money" phone, Redmi Note 9s, because for Rs. 40,000/- price point offering 6GB RAM and for some other features as well felt more "Value for money" to me. If you want better interface between these phones so, here Realme 6, for its stock android and having no ads at all, will be a better option. And if you want a "Wow Factor" phone, here too, I would recommend Realme 6, because in it there is a 90Hz Display. And you are not getting, this 90 Hz Display in any phone of mid range price segment at the moment. As you can see, both phones have their pros and cons, and which phone do you select, that depends upon your own usage scenario.

And I want to know which phone did you select? And why? If I were to be asked, which one I would select between these two? I think I would select Realme 6 because I really liked its 90Hz Display along with its stock android experience But at the same time Redmi Note 9s is a really great phone. Right now, if I would have needed a phone for power usage, I would definitely go towards it. But I would like to add something that in my opinion, the price of Realme 6 is a little higher It would have been better if it was lesser than this. Then the "Wow factor" of this phone would have been a lot better. That is all for this video. Hope that you liked it. I will meet you in the next.
